Q: What is Vector
art? This is probably one
of the most common questions that we receive and it is usually
followed by "why do I need it?" Simply put, Vector Art is
mathematically plotted artwork (similar to cad software used in
blueprinting) using lines arcs and variations of those 2
elements to create images without size restrictions. The
reason you need it is because professional printers use vector
art and postscript drivers to precisely plot and print your
media. This cannot be achieved with accuracy using non
vector formats such as jpeg, bmp and tiff which use pixels
(small dots of color) to create a mosaic image. File
enlargement just isn't possible without suffering in quality.

vectorization (bottom) of the same file. Which one would you
want going to your printer?
